Zanzibar | places to beBilly Aldous | 19 Mar 2021
i spent a couple of weeks in Zanzibar, spending a few days in Stonetown at the beginning. Stonetown has a very rich heritage and history, with friendly locals waiting for you in every street. karibu Inn was a good hostel in stonetown, very close to the waterfront. Then headed south towards Jambiani which although had great beaches and good for kitesuring was pretty quiet. Then moved onto Paje and then Nungwi. Nugwi was the best of all worlds with good hostels to meet people, beach bars/parties and an exotic beach - definitely stay at Badolina Bungalows.
