As recommended on the course, we found Cruz Del Sur the best bus company and used it in Boliva as well. Regarding ATMs, many ATMs will charge you even if you have a Caxton or Revolut card. We found BCP (Banco de Credito del Peru) ATMs the most numerous and they do not charge you commission.
Watch out for pickpockets in Cusco and Arequipa who are pretty numerous expecially around the market areas.
Do explore Northern Peru, quite a lot to do around Trujillo, such as the Chan Chan mud city.
