Here are some recommendations: Bogota - Republica, in Medeillin- black sheep or Happy Buddha, in Cartagena - Media Luna/. For Santa Marta - La Brisa Loca/ El Rio (on the coast, you must stay here - one of the nicest hostels we were in in SA)/Minca - Finca Carpe Diem or Casa Elemento. Minca is above Santa Marta.
