Mirca is nicer place to stay than busy Santa Marta. It's a bit of an effort to get there, by a Collectivo bus takes just 20 mins, costs Col 8,000, US$ 2.5. Casa Lomo is rustic hostel, a little bit of a hike up the hill (need a head torch at night) but very laid back and well run. The food is good with comfortable beds. Good walking, bird watching etc
