The Backhome Hostel in Hoi An is superb. It's one of the very best hostels I have stayed in. It has lots of rooms, singles, doubles and loads of dormitories. The hostel is spacious with large bar and dining area. Room and bathrooms are clean, modern and airy.  

The hostel is located on a relativley quiet side street which has an ATM and a range of places to eat. Its located about 15 minutes walk from the Japanese Bridge and the main attractions. The wifi works well and the restaurant and bar are served by lots of smiling helpful staff. 

The cost of a bed in 4 or 6 person dormitory is about $4 to $5. The hostel can arrange the hire of bicycles and help organise motorbike trips from Hoi An to Hue via the Hai Van pass.
