Went to watch 2 rival teams in Rio, Vasco de Gama v Flumineso, be careful of who's playing because we didn't really know how strong the rivalry was. Walked out stadium and there was a full on riot with tear gas. Make sure you are dropped off and collected by a minibus. Well worth it but just be careful who's playing. By talking to local you will be able to find out the extent of rivalries and whethere crowd trouble is likely.
