Thailand | Luggage underneath BusesChloe Smith | 02 Nov 2012
My backpack (which had padlocks on) which was put underneath in the luggage compartment of a bus was gone through on a journey from Krabi- don Sak. My ipod charger and a some money (US dollars) was taken. From then on on all my journeys I used the plastic gardening tags (which was recommended by the objective gap safety course I went on) as well as padlocks around all my zips. Although they are easily cut, it's clear when someone's been through your bag plus it will deter people from doing it, I didn't have a problem again! A lot of my friends had the same problem and one of them had her bag's zip glued back together after it was broken someone having gone through it.
