Australia | Travel to and stay Bondi BeachCharlie McGrath | 22 Dec 2015
The easiest way to get to Bondi beach from central Syndey is by train and bus. Train from Martin Place to Bondi Junction costs A$4 single and takes abount 10 mins. Then take bus 333 to Bondi beach, maybe 15 in heavy traffic. There are a few hostels on beach front, I visited (but didn't stay) at Bondi Backpackers, seemed clean and efficient. Most expensive over the Xmas and NY period when a dorm bed costs roughly A$40 per night. Staying Bondi certainly nicer than Kings Cross area.
